One cannot understand the pain of others until and
unless he himself has experienced it. “If you have to
experience it then only you will be able to feel the
pain.”, How many of us say it to others when we think
they are not understanding our pain?
But how many of us try to save others from the pain
that we experience ourselves? How many of us can
really feel the flames of pain and agony and try to save
others from it? Even if we cannot save, who takes the
responsibility of protecting and providing aid in such a
self-centered world?
In this fast-paced world, where no one has time to stop
and even think of others, who care for others? Who are
we as human beings if we ignore the sufferings of
others?
I believe goodness is still alive and my faith and belief became firmer when I got to know

Born in a business family from a travel background, Mr. Kawaljit Singh also did his graduation with a specialization in travel. As being born in a business family, he has a keen passion and aptitude to be an entrepreneur. Like any other, he had big life plans. Unfortunately, destiny had some other plans for him.
At the age of 35, when he was settled in life and every dream of him was taking shape as planned, fate played its game.
Kawaljit was doing his travel business successfully since 2003 when one day he came to know that he has a kidney failure. It was not all; lack of knowledge and doctor’s ignorance took him on dialysis in just 1.5 years.
All the dreams were shattered. Life has paused for him. The kidney failure and dialysis completely changed his life. He used to question himself, how can it be him at this age? It is often believed to be a disease of the old people.
Every challenge of life brings with it some message of the lord. When one day he was questioning himself that why God has chosen him for this challenge, he could sense the message of almighty.
He researched and realized that a lot of young people, children, and women are in the grip of this deadly disease.
He also noticed that many of them are ignorant about the disease. They do not have the apt knowledge of the disease, its causes, precaution, and prevention. They are uneducated and do not know how to take care of themselves while dialysis.
Unfortunately, professionalism has taken over humanism in the medical sector as well. No doubt that there are several dialysis centers operating all over the country. Most of them are just money-making centers. They do not intend to serve the patient rather they make full use of the opportunity and explore the plight of the patient to the maximum to make money. Either the charges are too high that is not affordable by the common and the poor man or if the prices are low then they degrade and deteriorate the quality of the product.
While he was researching, he found that most of the patients are hesitant in discussing everything with their doctors and sadly doctors are also not much interested in explaining much about how to manage the disease.
Do not you want to know, what was the hidden message of God that he understood in answer to his question, “why me”?
He understood that God has chosen him for a bigger mission in life. The almighty has chosen him to experience the pain so that he can understand the pain of others and could save and protect many others like him. Being human is given, but keeping our humanity is a choice. He chose humanity above his passion and dream.
He accepted his destiny and decided to open a dialysis center, Reneplus Dialysis Centre (EDEN Hospital, East Of Kailash, New Delhi) of his own to serve people. He opened his center with an intent to provide the best quality at a competitive price. He even provides the medical service at the cost to cost for needy people who are not able to afford the quality services.
Being a patient himself, he understands the needs of the patient very minutely. He very well knows the mindset of the patients while choosing the right-center for the treatment. He has also experienced the emotional factor involved in the treatment very deeply and from remarkably close. In contrast with others, he can feel the plight of the patient as he has gone through the same himself.
He has the vision to become the largest dialysis center company in India. He also dreams to open free centers for the needy as well. In addition to the treatment, he wants to impart immense knowledge to his patients. He also wishes to spread awareness about the disease and its management.
The sole meaning of life is to serve humanity. I am glad to share his story and his dream to serve humanity. He has dedicated his life to the service of mankind. He is working for such a noble cause. We all must join hands to help him make his dream come true. We must also be a part of the good noble cause and feel proud of having such an opportunity to serve humanity.
